About Us
Built by people who've been there.
New Beginnings was founded by men in recovery, for men in recovery. We know what it takes — and what it feels like — to start over.
Our Story
How New Beginnings came to be
New Beginnings started with a simple belief: that recovery is possible for anyone willing to do the work — but that no one should have to do it alone, or in an environment that sets them up to fail.
Our founder, a Los Angeles native with over a decade of sobriety, spent years watching men leave treatment only to return to the same environments, the same people, and the same patterns. He opened New Beginnings to offer something different: a real home, with real structure, and real community.
Today, New Beginnings has helped dozens of men build stable, sober lives in Los Angeles. Some have gone on to start families, launch careers, and give back to the recovery community themselves.
Our Mission
What we stand for
To provide men in early recovery with a safe, structured, and supportive home — where accountability and community make lasting sobriety possible.
Dignity
Every resident is treated with respect. Recovery is hard enough without feeling judged.
Accountability
We hold each other to a higher standard — not to punish, but because we know it works.
Community
The relationships built here are often the most important part of a man's recovery.
Hope
We've seen what's possible. We believe in every resident's ability to build a new life.
Come see the house for yourself.
